Message From Student Affairs Department
The Student Affairs Department is composed of the Student Life Office and the Community Engagement Office. Our department provides students with opportunities to enhance their personal development in leadership and community engagement. We seek to create a vibrant and complete co-curricular student experience that can groom students as scholars with a conducive balance between academic and social life.
We believe that the student is at the centre of their development as an individual. As a result we strongly encourage student initiative and ideas on how to make an impact. We believe that a holistic student experience means striking a careful balance between academic and social life. Whilst our students are guaranteed to receive the excellent teaching, access to modern resources and a fun environment. We are also committed to providing social opportunities for students to develop key organizational and leadership roles through their student council, clubs and societies that will enrich their undergraduate experience.
Increasingly, graduate employers are seeking recruits with a whole range of skills that must be garnered from outside the classroom. Involvement in extra-curricular activities, such as student societies, volunteer work, and social events can often be just as valuable as the academic study itself. We aim to provide as many opportunities as possible, aiding in the development of a well-rounded graduate, ready to take on society.
