Among the distinguished graduates was Vanessa Yeboah, daughter of renowned Ghanaian footballer Tony Yeboah, who graduated with a BSc in Marketing.
Vanessa’s academic journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Not only did she excel in her studies at LUG, but she also represented the university on the international stage. Vanessa was part of a select group of 15 students from Lancaster University Ghana who had the prestigious opportunity to present papers at the Lancaster University UK Student Conference. Her paper, titled “Designing Tomorrow: Unleashing Architectural Creativity for Resilient Ghanaian Communities,” earned her top honors in the Business Category. This exceptional recognition is a testament to her innovative thinking and dedication to addressing key societal challenges.
Beyond her academic success, Vanessa demonstrated exemplary leadership during her time at LUG. She served as the Student Academic Representative for the 2023/2024 academic year, actively advocating for student interests and fostering a positive academic environment.
