The Career Services Department at Lancaster University Ghana recently organized an enriching masterclass aimed at equipping students with essential communication skills for the workplace. Titled “The Art of Public Speaking,” the session was conducted by David Dei Awuku, offering students invaluable techniques to overcome their fears and excel in communication.

The masterclass witnessed a gathering of students eager to enhance their abilities in public speaking, a critical skill in today’s professional landscape. Led by David Dei Awuku, students were guided through various aspects of effective communication, including conquering stage fright, crafting compelling messages, and delivering impactful presentations.

Speaking on the importance of such workshops, at Lancaster University Ghana, David Dei Awuku emphasized, “In today’s competitive job market, strong communication skills are indispensable. Through initiatives like these masterclasses, we aim to empower our students with the tools and confidence needed to succeed in their future careers.”

Students actively participated in interactive sessions, practical exercises, and received personalized feedback to hone their speaking abilities. The masterclass not only focused on verbal communication but also emphasized non-verbal cues, body language, and overall presentation skills.
