Lancaster University Ghana (LUG) has held another successful journalism master class, this time focusing on Media Convergence.
As with its inaugural master class in August, the October 10th event was attended by senior journalists and editors from media houses across the capital.
LUG’s Master Class Series forms part of the University’s corporate social responsibility to provide skills enhancement opportunities to senior staff of organisations.
The latest master class aimed at addressing contemporary issues around media convergence. It provided a unique forum for professionals to confront, discuss and understand internal and external challenges associated with the phenomenon. Making use of the opportunity, delegates engaged in lively discussions in their endeavours to give perspective and find realistic solutions to the challenges.
The event also served as a platform for delegates to network with each other and build relationships with the various media houses in attendance, such as EIB (Starr FM, Live FM, Kasapa FM), Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, TV3, Ghana News Agency, and Ringier Ghana among others.
The theme of LUG’s first Masterclass was Media Ethics.
