Three of our Computer Science students Samuel Kori, Andrews Lartey and Cole Baidoo took part in a hackathon organized by Peace Corps Ghana from 2 nd to 5 th August, 2018 and were part of the teams who won 1st and 2nd place!

This hackathon was organised to build prototypes of solutions to different problems identified as challenges for cashew farmers and other stakeholders and actors in the cashew supply chain. 7 groups competed in the hackathon, with each team consisting of 2 developers, 2 farmers, 2 buyers and 3 Peace Corps Volunteers. At the end of the 3rd day of the hackathon our students who served as developers on different teams emerged in the 1st and 2nd place of the hackathon.
