Abena Safa Nyarko-Opoku is a dedicated legal professional called to the Ghana Bar in 2020. She holds an LLB from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, an LLM in International Trade Law from the University of Birmingham and a Professional Mediation Training Certificate from the Marian Conflict Resolution Centre.
Safoa has experience with legal research, teaching assistance, student mentorship, engagement and interaction having previously worked as a Teaching and Research assistant at GIMPA and the University of Birmingham. Safoa also works as a litigation lawyer with focus on family and matrimonial causes, debt recovery and commercial law. She is also equipped with negotiation skills allowing her to mediate disputes. Her areas of interest include Public International Law, International Trade Law and Law of Torts.
