Tuesday, 25th April marked the kick-off of the summer term spirit week activities planned by the Lancaster Ghana Students Council (LGSC) to foster school spirit amongst the student body.
The week-long action-packed celebration had daily themes and events that brought students and faculty together to show their LUG pride.
Twin Day
You didn’t have to be a twin to get in on the fun. Students and faculty had the chance to dress alike and be twins.
Jersey Day
Jersey day was the theme for the second day of spirit week and students wore their favorite teams’ jerseys.
African Themed Games Night
With food, music, culture, and African themed games, students enjoyed a fun and interactive game night.
Cultural Day
Students were treated to a colourful spectacle of rich cultural performance, arts, history, food, music and dance from across Africa.
Lancaster Student Market
The student market showcased crafts, art and whatever else your fellow students had for sale!
Outer Banks Beach Party
To culminate the spirit week, students headed to the beach for waves and sand, delicious food and drinks while having a chance to socialise and network with peers.
With the pride showcased by spirit week events, the Lancaster Ghana Student Council hopes to spearhead even more exciting programmes to ensure that your undergraduate years at Lancaster University Ghana will be an unforgettable experience.
