On 9th June 2023, a soiree was organised exclusively for student leaders by the Student Affairs Department. The soiree, being the maiden edition of the soon-to-be annual event, brought together student leaders, the provost and staff from the student affairs department under one roof for an unforgettable evening filled with joy, laughter, and camaraderie.
In addition to the glamour of the soiree, an open forum was incorporated into the event, providing an opportunity for students to voice their concerns and share experiences. This created an environment where students could come together, breaking the barriers of the conventional classroom setting and creating an environment for free speech.
This was an evening that transcended the boundaries of academia, offering students a chance to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of elegance and camaraderie. For a little over two hours, it provided a welcome respite from the pressures of student life, serving as a gentle reminder that college was also about shared experiences and not just books.
