Developing the people who develop nations.
Lancaster University was brought to Ghana in 2013 by Transnational Academic Group (TAG) who owns and operates the campus in Accra. TAG’s Foundation Programme has received validation by Lancaster University to allow students a pathway for seamless entry into Lancaster University Ghana’s undergraduate programmes, and to Lancaster University’s undergraduate programmes in the UK. In addition to this, TAG is the first and only education provider in West Africa to have attained the British Accreditation Council’s (BAC) accreditation for its Foundation Programme.
TAG was launched in 2007 with a view to develop human capacity in emerging markets. In addition to Lancaster University’s campus in Ghana, TAG also owns and operates Curtin University’s Dubai campus, and South Africa-based ABN Training in partnership with the Australian Institute of Management in Western Australia. Previous partnerships include Murdoch University in Dubai which concluded in 2018. During this time, TAG had established Murdoch University Dubai as one of the leading Universities in the region for PR and Screen studies.
