Studying at Lancaster has given me the skills I know are necessary for me as a budding lawyer, to fight for Justice and to make change.
In my experience as a law student at Lancaster, what I found the most interesting were the cases that we had to study. I was intrigued from the start, even though these cases were quite lengthy due to the grammar used by the judges and lawyers. The cases we had to read for Criminal Law definitely stood out for me, and our class trip to the Nsawam Prison in our first year really made the cases a reality for me. The visit brought everything into perspective and also made me promise myself to stay away from crime because Nsawam prison was really one heck of a place!!!
