For Stacey, the path to graduation has been a journey of both academic growth and personal discovery. Joining Lancaster University Ghana with determination and curiosity, she quickly found opportunities to push her boundaries and make a meaningful impact.

One of her earliest and most memorable experiences came during her foundation year, where she undertook a significant project that challenged her creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. This project not only strengthened her academic foundation but also gave her the confidence to take on more ambitious goals in the years that followed.

Her leadership journey truly took shape when she joined the Law Society and served as an executive. In this role, Stacey played a key part in planning events, creating opportunities for peer learning, and fostering a supportive community among law students. Her ability to lead with purpose, listen to diverse perspectives, and champion initiatives for her peers became a defining part of her university experience.

Reflecting on her time at LUG, Stacey shares how earning a British degree while studying close to home has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her journey. The ability to gain a globally recognised qualification without leaving Ghana allowed her to stay connected to her roots while benefiting from the same high academic standards as Lancaster University UK. Combined with rigorous academics, supportive peers, and hands-on experiences, this opportunity has equipped her with the skills, perspective, and confidence to thrive in any part of the world.

Stacey’s journey reflects what Lancaster University Ghana strives to offer every student, a blend of academic excellence, leadership development, and global perspective. From her early foundation project to leading in the Law Society and earning a British degree with international recognition while remaining close to home, her story showcases the many paths’ students can take to achieve their goals. As she steps into the next chapter, Stacey carries with her not just a degree, but the confidence, skills, and vision to make an impact wherever her journey leads.
