Randy Ohene-Otu is a legal scholar, political scientist, and human rights activist with expertise in law, political thought, and international relations. He is a Lecturer of Politics at Lancaster University Ghana and also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Wisconsin International University College, Ghana (School of Graduate Studies). His academic and professional work spans across political science, law, and human rights advocacy.
Ohene-Otu holds a PhD in Political Science (Pending Graduation) from the University of Ghana (2025), an MPhil in Political Science (2018), and a BA in Political Science and Geography (2014), all from the University of Ghana. Additionally, he obtained an LLB (First Class Honours) from Wisconsin International University College, Ghana (2022) and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2024 after completion of his professional law course at the Ghana School of Law.
His teaching and research focus on Political Thought, International Politics, International Political Economy, Public Policy, and Human Rights. With a keen interest in legal scholarship, his expertise extends to International Public Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Commercial Law, and Maritime Law. Beyond academia, he is a committed human rights activist, advocating for equality, justice, and the protection of fundamental freedoms.
