Mr. Brobbey graduated from the University of Ghana with a Bachelor of Laws degree, and subsequently obtained a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, Cambridge, MA. With over twenty years of experience as a lawyer in Ghana and the United States, and eleven years of experience as a legal academic, Mr. Brobbey has significant expertise in the administration, research, and teaching of law in Ghana. In addition, Mr. Brobbey is a member of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), an independent constitutional commission focused on increasing public knowledge of civic rights and responsibilities in Ghana.
Mr. Brobbey currently heads Lancaster University Ghana’s Department of Law. He also teaches Constitutional Law, Private International Law, and Jurisprudence. His primary areas of research are constitutional law, business and human rights, and comparative law.
