LUG Drama Club is a society which aims at bringing out one’s potential; be it singing, dancing, acting, playwrighting, etc., in the theatre of arts.

Looking for a place to build up your confidence or enhance your ideas to create the bigger picture? LUG Drama Club is the one for you. Though we might have just hit the one year, this club has had a successful display of our talent in a play; ‘This April’s Fool’. For this academic year, we have a series of activities lined up which we hope will get you engaged with us, so buckle your seatbelt and join the ride to greater heights. You’ll not regret this!Our most recent play, although hindered by the presence of COVID-19, is a pre-recorded sketch which highlights the effects of the pandemic on the mental health of students. It was screened at the annual LUG mental health conference in 2021.

This year, we will be staging a play titled, Revealing the Truth. An intense drama highlighting bullying and abuse.
