In May 2022, the students of Lancaster University Ghana elected the eighth Student Representative Council (SRC). This council is to run its tenure for the 2022/2023 academic year with teamwork and dedication in order achieve its aims and goals and lay a strong foundation for future elected office holders to stand upon.
With continuous growth, development and advancement, it is our hope that the SRC will continue to advocate on behalf of the students and be the strong echoing voice that channels the requests of students to the University and its management for a strengthened positive relationship.
The SRC executives for the 2022/2023 academic year are:

- Secretary – Lilian Ama Owusu-Ansah
- Communications Officer – Toyum Andy William
- Financial Officer – Deborah Ojima
- Academic Officer – Vanessa Yeboah
- Clubs, Societies and Sports Officer – Graciella Desta Kemi
- Welfare Officer – Jessica Monica Sakyi
- International Students Officer – Tiangay Francess Kallon
Currently, there are seven active student clubs and societies that register with the Student Representative Council each year. Once registered, student clubs and societies are recognised by Lancaster University Ghana and therefore eligible for funding from the SRC. The SRC, through a unique student parliament system, evaluates the quality and success of events being put on by the various organisations. Registration of clubs and societies usually lasts from October through to the following year when renewals are approved by the SRC.
Academic Mentorship Programme (AMP)
This is an academic support service governed by the Lancaster Ghana Student Council (LGSC) that aims at providing experienced peer guidance and instruction for students in need or want of academic support. This program is targeted at, not just at foundation and direct entry students, but also any student in Lancaster University Ghana who feel that they are in need of help and guidance in their academic and/or social life. The ultimate goal of this program is to help motivate students to discover new and creative ways to define and achieve success at school.
