When Halle Akosua Asantewaa Dotse joined Lancaster University Ghana to pursue a degree in Computer Science, she arrived with quiet determination and a deep passion for technology. She wasn’t just here to learn code; she came to lead, inspire, and shape the future of tech in Ghana.
Throughout her academic journey, Halle has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and bold leadership. As President of the Student Computer Science Club, she championed initiatives that encouraged more young women to explore technology. Between 2021 and 2023, she earned five Provost Awards for Outstanding Academic Excellence, an extraordinary recognition of her dedication and brilliance.
This year, Halle’s exceptional track record earned her the prestigious LUG-KGL Foundation Scholarship, awarded through a partnership between Lancaster University Ghana and the KGL Foundation. This scholarship supports high-performing, visionary students who are poised to make meaningful contributions in their fields. For Halle, it’s a milestone that affirms her hard work and positions her as a future leader in Ghana’s tech space.
