The event opened with a keynote speech from Professor Jonathan Ivy of Lancaster University Management School (UK). He shared vital insights into the global business landscape and stressed how innovation continues to shape the world of entrepreneurship.

Throughout the celebration, students had the unique opportunity to engage with prominent African business leaders:
- Mr. Muyiwa Alesh, Head of Media at Publicis West Africa, spoke about the impact of media strategy and branding in Africa’s fast-paced market.

Spotlight on Student Innovation: The Idea Competition
A major highlight of Lancaster University Ghana Business Week was the Student Idea Competition. Students pitched entrepreneurial solutions to a panel of judges, showcasing creativity and strategic thinking.
Each pitch lasted 15 minutes and was judged on originality, feasibility, and impact.
In the end, three standout students received awards for their innovative business concepts—another testament to the university’s student-centered approach.

The week concluded with an industrial visit on March 4th, allowing students to observe business operations in action. This initiative bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience—an integral part of Lancaster University Ghana’s teaching approach.
