Lancaster University Ghana’s Computer Science students, competing as Team Ségulla, made an impressive debut at this year’s Ghana Robotics Competition, earning the title of “Rising Star of the Engineers League.”

Despite being newcomers, the team showcased exceptional innovation, technical skill, and collaboration, qualities that helped them advance to the Overall Semi-Finals, outperforming several experienced teams in the process.

The Ghana Robotics Competition brought together some of the nation’s most talented young engineers and innovators to design, build, and program robots that tackle complex challenges. Team Ségulla’s achievement highlights Lancaster University Ghana’s growing impact in STEM education, emphasizing its commitment to hands-on learning, creativity, and problem-solving.
