Lancaster University Ghana opened its doors to prospective students and school counselors for its highly anticipated 2025 Open Day, a day filled with discovery, inspiration, and hands-on learning.

Visitors experienced firsthand the university’s vibrant academic community, world-class teaching, and the distinctive culture that makes Lancaster University Ghana one of West Africa’s leading higher education destinations.

Across campus, each faculty brought learning to life in unique and engaging ways. The Law Department transformed the courtroom into a stage of learning, with a live Moot Court session that gave students a taste of real-world advocacy. The Politics Department hosted a Model UN simulation, inviting visitors to step into the shoes of diplomats and engage in global policy debates. Over at the Emerging Technologies Centre (ETC), the Computer Science Department showcased cutting-edge innovations and student-led tech projects. At the same time, the Business Department energized participants with an Idea Pitch Challenge, rewarding creativity and strategic thinking with Lancaster-branded souvenirs.

Adding to the excitement, Professor Cynthia Forson, Deputy Provost, led an insightful session on the upcoming Business Cup Challenge 2026, encouraging students to embrace curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking as the keys to innovation.

The event captured the essence of Lancaster University Ghana’s mission to deliver education that is globally relevant, intellectually rigorous, and deeply connected to the real world.
