Lancaster University Ghana (LUG) proudly celebrates the latest cohort of alumni who have been officially called to the Bar in Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and The Gambia, reinforcing the university’s commitment to developing globally competent, ethical, and impactful legal professionals.

Building on previous milestones, LUG now adds five more distinguished alumni to its list of Bar graduates: Tiangay Kollon (C2024) called to the bar in Sierra Leone, Precious Ochie (C2022), Tano Onovughe (C2018), Immanuel Abimbola Nnaji (C2022), all called to the Bar in Nigeria, and Winston Edem Gunn (C2021), called to the Bar in The Gambia.

Earlier alumni called to the Bar in Ghana included Maame Adwoa Kwankyewaah Awuah (C2023), Christabel Bempong Manful (C2021), Papa Nyan Neizer (C2023), Manuela Davis (C2022), Ohemaa Osei Tutu (C2021), and Jason Obeng-Adiyiah (C2020), while David Bristol-Alagbariya (C2023) and Grace Abiola Olorunfemi (C2023) were called to the Bar in Nigeria.

These achievements celebrate the dedication, discipline, and excellence of each graduate and underscore the strength of LUG’s LLB Law Programme. Designed with both European and Nigerian electives, the programme blends British academic standards with African perspectives, equipping graduates to practice law across multiple jurisdictions and excel on the global legal stage.

As they embark on the next stage of their professional journeys, these alumni embody LUG’s values of integrity, leadership, and service, inspiring current and future students to aim higher and lead with purpose.

The LUG family congratulates all alumni called to the Bar this year; you continue to make us proud!
