On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the Achimota Golf Club came alive with purpose and passion as golfers teed off at dawn for the Allstar Insurance Brokers Pink Cup Tournament, a celebration of sport, solidarity, and social impact.
Lancaster University Ghana (LUG) was proud to partner as a sponsor of this year’s event, reaffirming our commitment to advancing causes that strengthen communities and create meaningful change. Our support for the Pink Cup goes beyond the game; it reflects our belief that education and leadership extend far beyond the classroom.
At LUG, we are deeply committed to promoting breast cancer awareness, a cause that speaks to compassion, resilience, and responsibility, values we instill in every student. Through our collaboration with Allstar Insurance Brokers and the Achimota Golf Club, we are honoured to contribute to efforts that fund breast cancer screening, treatment, and education across Ghana.
The tournament brought together professionals, philanthropists, and health advocates, all united by a shared purpose, to make early detection and care accessible for all. Free breast screenings were conducted on-site for men and women, underscoring the event’s powerful message of proactive health and community care.
