Last month, students from our Politics & International Relations (PPR) department embarked on an enriching visit to UNICEF as part of their week-long celebrations. The visit provided an invaluable opportunity for students to be exposed to potential career paths within the United Nations and its affiliated institutions.
During the visit, students interacted with professionals from various departments and units at UNICEF, including WASH, Health & Nutrition, Child Protection, Education, Social Policy and Inclusion, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social and Behavior Change, Innovation, Operations, and HR. These sessions offered insights into the diverse roles and responsibilities within the organization, shedding light on the impactful work being done to address global challenges.
The visit served as a catalyst for their aspirations, igniting a passion for contributing to positive change on a global scale.
Lancaster University Ghana takes pride in providing students with such immersive learning experiences, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and inspiration to become future leaders and agents of change in their respective fields.
