On March 13, LUG hosted its highly anticipated Career Fair 2024, welcoming over 20 leading organizations and esteemed HR professionals for a day filled with networking, engagement, and promising career opportunities.
The Career Fair brought together a diverse array of students, alumni, and industry professionals under one roof, creating an atmosphere for meaningful connections and insightful conversations. With organizations ranging from tech giants to financial institutions and non-profit organizations.
One of the highlights of the event was the engaging panel discussions featuring esteemed professionals from renowned organizations who provided invaluable insights into industry trends, career development strategies, and the evolving job market landscape.
Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to participate in various competitions, including elevator pitches, CV clinics, Mock Interviews and career prospects guidance. These competitions not only showcased the talent and creativity of our students but also provided a platform for them to shine and stand out in front of potential employers.
The HR manager for Fido Microcredit said, “We had the opportunity to interact with a few students of LUG, and most of them have the zeal to work and they are also ready to learn more.” Also, a first-year Business Management student, Ouail Kahoul, said, “My experience at the career fair was basically very informative, and I also benefited from applying for internships through all these companies.”
