At Lancaster University Ghana’s 9th Graduation Ceremony, the spotlight was not only on the graduating Class of 2025 but also on the remarkable achievements of our alumni. Each year, the LUG Alumni Award honours graduates who, within ten years of completing their degree, are already making outstanding contributions in their fields and communities.

This year, the award was presented to Peter Onisha Peregbakumo, BSc Computer Science, Class of 2019, in recognition of his exceptional leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial drive in the STEM field.

Since leaving Lancaster, Peter has founded two thriving startups, Vibranium Technologies and BuukMeNow, which are providing innovative solutions that empower service providers and creatives to grow and adapt in today’s fast-paced digital economy. His achievements reflect not only his own determination and vision but also the transformative education and global perspective gained at Lancaster University, Ghana.
