Dr. Bilal Siddiqi is the Vice Chairman of Lancaster University Ghana, and Managing Director – Strategy at Curtin University Dubai. He is also a Director at CNBC Africa, Forbes Africa and Mera FM, a radio station in Pakistan.
Dr. Siddiqi completed his BA in English and Philosophy from the University of Sussex in 2008, his MA in Modern European Philosophy at the University of Warwick in 2010 and his PhD in Russian Literature at UCL in 2021. He also gained a PGCE in English – Secondary Education from the University of Oxford in 2014.
Dr. Siddiqi has a background in both entrepreneurial and academic spheres. Having worked as an Executive Director at one of the largest news channels in Pakistan, Samaa TV, in Marketing and PR for Murdoch University (Dubai), and in Strategy for TAG. As a teacher, Dr Siddiqi has worked as a PGTA at UCL, as a School teacher in Oxfordshire and London, and as a lecturer at Curtin University Dubai.
