Gloria is currently a lecturer in Marketing at the Business Studies Department at Lancaster University, Ghana. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from All Nations University Ghana, an MSc in International Marketing from the University of the West of Scotland, UK and a PhD in International Business from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Gloria worked in the cocoa industry of Ghana (PBC Ltd) for about fifteen years before she pursued her career in academia. She was involved in research, monitoring and evaluation and preparation of statistical analysis on cocoa purchases. Thus, Gloria has extensive industry experience, which has aided her academic career.
Gloria has been teaching in higher education for over four years and is a member of the Academy of International Business. Gloria has attended many AIB conferences in different countries. Gloria also devotes some time for reviewing academic manuscripts for journals and conferences and has some publications to her credit. Her research interest includes international business, export promotion programmes, gender studies in entrepreneurship and export marketing strategies in emerging countries. Gloria has also taught Research Methods, International Business, International Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship and International Marketing.
