Emmanuel Koranteng Nyabi is a Lecturer in Foundation Mathematics at Lancaster University Ghana. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and an MPhil in Statistics from the University of Ghana, as well as an MSc in Financial Economics from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Alongside his academic role, Emmanuel serves as a Data Monitor with the Ghana Statistical Service, where he has contributed to several major national projects, including the 2021 Population and Housing Census, the Integrated Business Establishment Survey, and the DAVE project. He is highly skilled in statistical software, particularly Stata and R, applying these tools to advanced data analysis and econometric modelling.
Prior to joining Lancaster University Ghana, Emmanuel gained valuable teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Ghana and as a lecturer at GIMPA. He has taught a range of courses, including Foundational Mathematics, Introduction to Statistics, and Applied Econometrics.
His research interests include Computational Statistics, Applied Econometrics, and Tail Risk Assessment, with a particular focus on their applications in financial economics and risk management.
